Description Alexander Larsson 2012-06-29 07:42:10 UTC
The current general animation duration in boxes is 250msec, While this makes the animations very obvious and nice it is imho slightly too long and makes you sometimes wait for the animations. I think something like 167msec (10 frames at 60hz) is a better value.
Comment 1 Jakub Steiner 2012-09-21 11:05:25 UTC
You should not feel like you're waiting for transitions, indeed. I think it's a little too high right now. Now let's aim to really have the fluid 60fps :)

167ms looks good to me, but 250ms looked equally good too ;) Lets's get this in for 3.6.0!

Make animations slightly faster

The current 250 msec is slighly to much and it sometimes feel as you
are waiting on animations. Bump the duration to a slightly lower
value that seems faster, but still lets you see the animations.

Dunno if this needs a freeze break, probably not, but asking doesn't hurt, especially as we need one for this display connection bug
