Confirmed on evince 3.10.3-0ubuntu10.1.  Opening the document with evince from a terminal gives multiple instances of:

BAD status: invalid value (typically too big) for the size of the input (surface, pattern, etc.)

Same kind of problem for me : unable to rotate a landscape page in portrait format (it becomes empty) or print it.

This is a bug in poppler. I am sorry it took me to notice it so long. The attchmanet should be forwarded to bugs.freedesktop.org product:poppler

Closing it as the bug was in Poppler and it was fixed a while ago.
