Description Máirín Duffy 2012-06-19 07:12:59 UTC
See screenshot. There were over 1000 evolution calendar notifications firing at me very quickly (I did some inbox cleaning today which seemed to re-invigorate very old meeting requests.)

Thankfully I was able to turn notifications off in the user menu. However, I thought it might be worth thinking about throttling notifications because nobody wants 1000 notifications within a 1-2 minute period, especially from the same app. Maybe some kind of 'silence this application for the next 5 minutes' type of button like mugshot used to have.

Yeah this is annoying also see bug 660476 , we need a design for that though. I am not sure a "shut up" button for every app is the right fix though ...

Certainly want something like this. Going to dup to the other bug that requests the same.
