Description OmegaPhil 2012-06-14 15:23:31 UTC
Prior to v3, I would routinely open an image/images in a directory and in the image viewer mode (rather than the directory overview) use the Delete key or Shift+Delete to remove images. It seems that the keybinding has been dropped? Delete or Shift+Delete no longer work, and you have to right click -> Delete. The normal keybindings work in the directory overview mode (but you see smaller versions of the pictures naturally).

Depending on the number of images to go through this is a minor or major usability problem for me.

I cannot reproduce the problem, both delete and shift+delete work for me in viewer mode.
Comment 2 OmegaPhil 2012-06-14 18:00:15 UTC
OK - I have recreated the problem in a VM configured in the same way as my machine. I will setup a GNOME 3 login and try there.
Comment 3 OmegaPhil 2012-06-14 18:39:11 UTC
I can confirm it works in GNOME 3... I will make an XFCE4 bug, shall I close this one?

closed for you :)
