Description Andreas J. Guelzow 2012-06-12 18:18:06 UTC
new gnumeric
Format->Cells->ConditionalFormatting
click EditStyle
select "custom colour" from the backgound colour combo
the custom colour dialog is 100% unresponsive

you can't even close that dialog! It only disappears when Gnumeric quits.

Note that this is https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gnumeric/+bug/1008522
Comment 2 Jean Bréfort 2012-06-12 20:39:12 UTC
The EditStyle dialog seems to keep the focus. I can reproduce on debian, so not ubuntu specific.
Comment 3 Andreas J. Guelzow 2012-06-12 21:00:15 UTC
The edit syle dialog is really our regular format dialog with most of the pages hidden, but this problem does not occur with the regular invocation of the format dialog!
Comment 4 Andreas J. Guelzow 2012-06-12 21:02:48 UTC
I see the format dialog under the normal invocation is a
        go_gtk_nonmodal_dialog (wbcg_toplevel (state->wbcg),...
while this invocation is
        gtk_window_set_modal (GTK_WINDOW (state->dialog), TRUE);
	gtk_widget_show (GTK_WIDGET (state->dialog));
Comment 5 Andreas J. Guelzow 2012-06-13 01:58:04 UTC
This problem has been fixed in the development version. The fix will be available in the next major software release. Thank you for your bug report.
