GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 677727
folks in -core-deps depens on evolution-data-server in -core
Last modified: 2016-08-23 15:40:39 UTC
as per summary, just a reminder for more investigation (move eds in -core-deps too?)
Well we can either move folks from core-deps to core, or move evolution-data-server from core to core-deps. Any preferences?
Folks has the eds dependency optional, but I believe it's better to build it, to have more complete folks and better "code coverage". With respect of the "core-deps" to "core", or vice versa, I suppose it wasn't a question for me. I do not use jhbuild, neither know precisely what the two are good for, thus I cannot comment on that part. I'm sorry.
jjardon: mcatanzaro: Id prefer to move e-d-s to core-deps mcatanzaro: OK then! mcatanzaro: The reason I hesitated is: it is a constantly-running daemon, seems kind of "core". But folks does not seem core. Shrug.
The following fix has been pushed: fecb190 3.22: Move e-d-s to core-deps
Created attachment 334014 [details] [review] 3.22: Move e-d-s to core-deps It's needed by folks. We don't want to build folks without e-d-s support, and we don't want to move folks to core.
