MSVC libxml2-2.7.8 Config File

Hi,

We have recently upgraded to libxml2-2.7.8 and libxslt-1.1.26 and found that when using xmlDocFormatDump() when writing an XML document to disk we get a SEGV on Windows only - the xmlDocFormatDump() call works fine for the same data on Linux and Solaris.

I have attached the config file used to create the libxml2-2.7.8 dll to see if it is the way I have configured it that is causing the problem.

The version of iconv is 1.9.2 and zlib is 1.2.6 with this configuration.

Any help would be greatly appreciated in this matter.

GNOME is going to shut down bugzilla.gnome.org in favor of gitlab.gnome.org.
As part of that, we are mass-closing older open tickets in bugzilla.gnome.org
which have not seen updates for a longer time (resources are unfortunately
quite limited so not every ticket can get handled).

If you can still reproduce the situation described in this ticket in a recent
and supported software version, then please follow
  https://wiki.gnome.org/GettingInTouch/BugReportingGuidelines
and create a new ticket at
  https://gitlab.gnome.org/GNOME/libxml2/-/issues/

Thank you for your understanding and your help.
