Hello,
I have a problem since Gimp 2.6. I tried with Gimp 2.8.0, problem still here.

Issue:
When I try to print an picture, position is not applied during printing even if ignore page margins is ticked.
Position is defined in print window: menu File / Print / Tab Image parameters (centered position by default)
Size setting is the same tab works fine.
On verion 2.6, another tab was here in the print window to setup marings, but not still here in 2.8.
e.g. it becomes impossible to print recto/verso documents...

Environment:
Windows Vista SP1 (my wife's...).
Printer is HP Deskjet 3050A J611 series or PDF Creator (issue reproduced on both). Gimp version is 2.8.0 but problem was also here in 2.6.
Bug not reprocuded under Linux Ubuntu (picture well centered on printing).
Reproduced with several files, always in 600dpi.

=> I assume it's not related to printer, not related to Gimp's version but related to operating system.

Known workaround:
On Gimp 2.6, define position using the margins (tab margins in print windows).
On Gimp 2.8, enlarge canavas on the left and on the top of image to insert blank zone in order to center image on printed page.
On both, save picture and goes on a Linux station to print document (or linux virtual machine).

Hello,

I have just noticed that this bug is a duplicate of bug 562619.
I did not find it first time I search.

Please note the bug 562619 is still not solved in Gimp 2.8.
Very annoying if cannot print as you want...

Sorry for duplicate
