Do you resize the brush in the paint tool options or in another way?
Comment 4 Catia 2012-06-06 13:38:41 UTC
no matter how u resize it still crashes but i've resized by using the arrows or by inserting the numbers.i think the bug is in the resize script not in the tools

Resize script?

We have no idea what you're doing, please provide a description that lists the steps to be reproduced.

I’m on Win7 x64, Gimp 2.8.0.
I have no brush called “color fill”.
I created a new brush, changed its radius, spikes, hardness, aspect ratio, angle and spacing in the brush editor. No issue. Neither with mouse, nor entering number or using cursor keys.
I then changed the size of the brush in the tool options. No issue.

I suggest this issue be closed.
New issues with similarly insufficient descriptions be closed as duplicates,
and if there is actually an issue a new ticket be created with appropriate description of steps to take to reproduce.
