Description freggy1 2012-06-04 20:31:30 UTC
Evolution was hanging for me and I had to kill it. Then I restarted evolution, but since then, I get this error every time:

SELECT INBOX failed: Error in IMAP command SELECT: Invalid QRESYNC known-uids

and Evolution fails to fetch any new messages. mutt is still working fine.

Maybe Evolution could be a bit more robust against this error. In the worst case, I guess it could automatically refetch all headers from the IMAP server again instead of giving a message which cannot be understood by lots of users and leaving them with a broken e-mail client.

Thanks for a bug report. I guess most of the error message is returned from the server, the last part of it for sure. You should get this working when you disable QResync in account preferences. I'm marking this as a duplicate of another bug, which is basically about the same.
