Description Josef Kufner 2012-06-04 19:02:43 UTC
Hello,
Gimp hides it's toolbars all the time and it is extremely annoying.

When I switch to another desktop and then back, toolbars are hidden. I must press alt-tab twice to find them.

When I press alt-tab, I must always skip tollbars, becouse they are always at second place, but I want to switch between other application and picture in Gimp. But when Gimp loses focus, it hides toolbars (switching between two fullscreen windows).

Solution: Add an option "Hide toolbars when main window is hidden" to window management section of configuration dialog (enabled by default, so it will not disturb other users). This option will completely disable this annoying "feature". Version 2.4 was fine.

Window manager: IceWM 1.3.7 (Debian packages)
Gimp from Debian experimental packages, classic multi-window setup.

Thanks,
Josef Kufner
