Description Vince C. 2012-05-30 21:17:51 UTC
Hi all.

I remember I also had this bug in Gimp 2.6 with a tablet and I was waiting for 2.8 to fix my issues. It won't happen systematically but most of the time when I select a menu that brings a dialog box using my tablet stylus the dialog doesn't interact with the pen. I can still use the mouse and keyboard though, just not the pen.

As a fortunate workaround when I cancel the dialog, I can then click the canvas with the stylus; that brings the same dialog again and *then* I can use the pen to check options, select from lists...

I think in Gimp 2.6 this bug was somewhat related to the impossibility to drag guides using the mouse or stylus, can't remember exactly.

I've experienced this on a brand new Gentoo installation (two months old) on a Core i3. CFLAGS are as follows: "-march=native -msse4.1 -msse4.2 -O2 -pipe". Compiled with GCC 4.5.3.

It looks so, based on the earlier version, i.e. 2.6. I don't know how you handle cross-version duplicates but the symptoms are the same.
