Description Pratyush Sahay 2012-05-26 11:56:44 UTC
With any of the panel menu open (calendar / user menu / appmenu / network menu, etc), a press of the "Print" on the keyboard isnt taking a screenshot. Only when the menu is closed, does the screenshot work again. Am using Gnome 3.4.1 in Fedora 17, and can confirm that this behaviour wasnt there in Gnome 3.2.x in Fedora 16. The current versions of gnome-shell and gnome-screenshot are:

gnome-shell-3.4.1-4.fc17.x86_64
gnome-screenshot-3.4.1-2.fc17.x86_64
Comment 1 Michael Biebl 2012-06-17 04:18:16 UTC
other keyboard shortcuts are broken as well.
E.g. if you have any of the above mentioned menus open, you can no longer start or stop a screencast (CTRL+ALT+SHIFT+R)

especially not being able to take a screenshot/screencast from the opened activities menu is pretty annoying.
