Description Vadim Rutkovsky 2012-05-22 05:13:19 UTC
The bug was filed at https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=628603

$ rpm -qa "nautilus"
nautilus-3.4.2-5.fc17.i686

The man page for nautilus lists

       -c

       --check
              Perform a quick set of self-check tests.

but neither of these options actually work:

[tbl@tlondon ~]$ nautilus -c
Could not parse arguments: Unknown option -c
[tbl@tlondon ~]$ nautilus --check
Could not parse arguments: Unknown option --check
[tbl@tlondon ~]$

Thanks for the report...that option is compiled out at build time in the Fedora packages, but it doesn't really make sense in the manual anyway, as it's completely useless for an end user.
I removed it from the manual now, closing.
