Save the sample file objs.xls as ODF and then open both files to compare them. Most objects are missing or misplaced to the top left corner.

(If you open  the files in LibreOffice you see that most problems are likely to happen during opening, not writing.)

This was caused by the "fix" to bug #676339.

This problem has been fixed in the development version. The fix will be available in the next major software release. Thank you for your bug report.
