Description Pavel Simerda 2012-05-18 14:31:02 UTC
Even though there is DNSSL code in NetworkManager, "search" directive doesn't appear in /etc/resolv.conf. DHCPv6's DNSSL works fine.

I'm filing this bugreport to document the status quo. I would like to take this bug and work on it next week.

I now suspect this is a problem in kernel:

Kernel 3.5 implements this. I'm keeping this open until we test that DNSSL support actually works.

Tested with kernel 3.5.
