I run gnome-shell with a multiple monitor setup and have been finding the new application global menus a little annoying/confusing in this use case.

Some examples
* Having an application on the secondary display, its a long way to move the mouse to get to the App menu.
* At times I have accidentally closed the wrong application, since say application on primary monitor is in focus, but I actually meant to close application on secondary.

I am not sure what can be done to improve this, but one idea might be for each monitor to have its own Top Panel/App Menu.
