GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 67606
tab menu mentions "Prior" and "Next" keys
Last modified: 2004-12-22 21:47:04 UTC
The "tab" menu on the file toolbar says: --- ... Previous Tab Ctl+Prior Next Tab Ctl+Next ... --- /me searches for the "Prior" and "Next" keys... nope, none found! Through trial and error, I discover that Ctl+PageUp goes to Previous tab and Ctl+PageDown goes to Next tab. Honestly, I like multi-gnome-terminal's navigation better, Shift+<arrow>... perhaps this is an area to start a standardization initiative? -s
Please see bug 57394 and bug 63700 for some related things about the existing shortcuts.
i really dont think that shift+arrow has any chance of becoming a standard for tab switching *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of 63700 ***
Yeah. It conflicts both with keyboard selection/highlighting of characters in text entry fields in the pages and in the location field.
