GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 675334
Authentication dialog sometimes closes when incorrect password is entered
Last modified: 2013-01-22 14:04:54 UTC
Steps to reproduce: 1. Attempt to change the date/time settings via gnome-control-center 2. When prompted for the password, enter something invalid and press Return Results: Error text appears ("Sorry, that didn't work. Please try again."). Then the dialog closes.
I thought it happened all the time. Isn't it the expected behavior? (I agree it's very bad from an usability POV.)
The dialog should stick around so you can try to enter the password again.
