Description whoop 2012-05-02 00:36:12 UTC
Description:When I pause a video and resume the video the correct position of the video is changed.

It does not happen every time

Additional info:
* totem 3.4.1-2

Steps to reproduce:
Start a video, wait a while, click pause (the current frame changes to a previous frame), click play(the slide bar shifts to a previous location)

Works fine here. How do I reproduce the problem?
Comment 2 whoop 2012-05-02 20:38:03 UTC
I cannot reproduce it every time... It happens about 10% of the time although that is an estimation. I have not (yet) been able to figure out when it does and when it does not happen...
I am having this issue on different distros on the same machine...
I see people on ubuntu having similar experience so it is not completely isolated:

Comment 3 Bastien Nocera 2012-09-22 22:32:17 UTC
Do you have "remember previous position" turned on in the preferences for example? Without more details on how to reproduce, I'm afraid that I can't fix the problem.
Comment 4 Bastien Nocera 2012-09-22 22:33:17 UTC
And please try using at least 3.4.3 when reproducing this problem.
Comment 5 whoop 2012-10-09 23:06:58 UTC
Using 3.4.3
I cannot find that preference in my preferences but I see a "Start playing files from last position" and it is not enabled...
It could be important to know that I'm having a hard time reproducing this with local video files but it's real easy to reproduce with video files played from a samba share...
Comment 6 André Klapper 2014-07-12 16:16:13 UTC
whoop: Does the problem still happen in totem 3.12 or 3.10?
