Description jking 2012-04-25 15:33:42 UTC
Not having a title bar in Epiphany/Web's full screen mode means that the title of a website are invisible, which can be problematic when the page's title conveys important information.
Comment 1 Reinout van Schouwen 2012-05-06 21:36:48 UTC
Agreed. (This is also the case for tabs: tooltips have been removed, but they used to show the complete title of ellipsized tab titles).
Comment 2 Xan Lopez 2012-05-07 16:10:18 UTC
I suppose this is meant to say "maximized window mode", not fullscreen mode. Either way the design mockups show the title+domain where the URL entry is when the entry is not being used, so this will be fixed for 3.6 probably.
Comment 3 Reinout van Schouwen 2013-11-13 21:41:16 UTC
Problem still exists... however, the WinTitle shell extension offers a nice workaround: https://extensions.gnome.org/extension/731/wintitle/
