GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 674725
Outdated extensions can be seemingly installed, but nothing happens
Last modified: 2017-01-21 20:11:13 UTC
GNOME 3.4, Fedora 17 Beta. When I open https://extensions.gnome.org/ and try to install any extension that is displayed in black text (up to date), it works. Outdated extensions are indicated by gray text on the main page (e.g. when searching), but when I open up their detail page, there is no indication they are outdated and it seems I can install them just fine. However, nothing happens, extension is not installed, and if I refresh the page, the install slider is back to OFF. It is not shown among installed extensions. See attached video. I don't know whether this is a fault of gnome-shell plugin in web browser or the web page itself. gnome-shell-3.2.2.1-1.fc16.x86_64

Hm, the switch should be replaced by "OUTDATED". Seems like a bug I need to fix.
I have seen OUTDATED status a week ago on some extensions (but on some of them not, even though they were clearly outdated). Today I don't see OUTDATED anywhere.
