Description Matthias Drochner 2012-04-20 19:39:47 UTC
In vte.pc.in, a VTE_DEFAULT_EMULATION variable is used, but
not expanded.
Either drop it, or add an AC_SUBST for it to configure.in.
(The latter was present at least in vte-0.28.1.)
Comment 1 Christian Persch 2012-04-20 20:26:13 UTC
Do you know of anyone using that define from the .pc file? (I.e. did this break the build of some programme using vte?) If not, I think we can just remove it.
Comment 2 Matthias Drochner 2012-04-20 20:57:28 UTC
I don't know of any. grep in xfce4-terminal and genius (which is what I'm
using) didn't show a reference. A google search for "vte defaultemulation"
got some hits in mono and ruby bindings; this seems to refer to the
API interface rather than to something wired at build time.
Comment 3 Christian Persch 2012-06-06 09:13:05 UTC
Fixed on vte-0-32, vte-0-34 and vte-next.
