Description r_oinas 2001-12-22 21:51:04 UTC
Package: panel
Version: 1.4.0.4
Severity:

>Synopsis:
>Class: sw-bug
System: Dell Inspiron 8100, RedHat 7.2

>Description:
Gnome crashes after starting it the second time after installation.

>How-To-Repeat:
I installed RedHat 7.2, then installed the newest NVIDIA 1.0 drivers (for GeForce2 Go) and configured the XFree. Then I started X-windows which showed up ok. Then I shut down the system and rebooted the system and started X again, and this message 'Application "panel" (process 1261) has crashed due to a fatal error. (Segmentation fault)' occured. I reinstalled RedHat and the NVIDIA frivers again, and exactly same thing happened again.
