Description Steffen Gutmann 2012-04-16 05:39:42 UTC
An iconified window may open automatically under some conditions. Here is how to re-produce it:

1. start gtk-demo
2. double click on 'Application main window'
3. iconify the newly opened window
4. iconify the main window ('GTK+ Code Demos')
5. de-iconfy/re-open the 'Application window'
6. close the 'Application window'
7. Now the main window ('GTK+ Code Demos') reopens by itself (which it shouldn't).

I believe the main window receives a focus-in event which makes it re-open from its iconified state.

We're moving to gitlab! As part of this move, we are closing bugs that haven't seen activity in more than 5 years. If this issue is still imporant to you and
still relevant with GTK+ 3.22 or master, please consider creating a gitlab issue
for it.
