gnome-terminal don't start with Ctrl+Alt+t

Hello If you press Ctrl+Alt*t the gnome terminal has to start, but this not happens on gnome-shell. It works in Unity Thanks Fabio
Did you set a keybinding to start the terminal with Ctrl+Alt+t? If not, I don't see why you would expect it to work. Set a keybinding under System Settings => Keyboard.

Mah, this shortcut works in gnome classical, works in unity, and don't work in the shell.
Create a new shortcut to launch gnome-terminal, it isn't too hard. I don't know what gnome-classic or unity are doing, but we don't have (and will not provide) a default shortcut for it.

Feel free to patch Ubuntu to add a keybinding by default.
I've tried to change it but it don't work, I've tried with Ctrl+Alt+M or Alt+k, but it won't work.
Oh, I see. Ubuntu is shipping with an outdated control center, or outdated schemas, it looks like. The "Launch Terminal" shortcut was removed, and we don't obey it, since you can easily add your own.
This can be closed as NOTGNOME unless it's a wishlist that Ctrl+Alt+T should be set to open the terminal by default, which is admittedly a nice feature. Ubuntu 12.04 is shipping most of GNOME 3.4 but with an older version of the Keyboard Shortcuts panel to only set gconf shortcuts. That should be fixed for 12.10 but it will probably stay broken for 12.04. I do plan to add Ctrl+Alt+T as a default gsettings keyboard shortcut in 12.04; I just have been working on other priorities the past two weeks. Thanks!
