error log

Hello

Trying to connect to my Openfire jabber server, empathy will allways throw 'Authentication failed' and not let me log in.

It doesn't seem to be a pure authentication issue though, as debug console shows
an authorization error instead:

on_connection_ready: got error: WOCKY_AUTH_ERROR_FAILURE (#6): Authentication failed: not-authorized

My understing is once the connection is already set, empathy will try some communication before the channel is totally ready, since the first error reads

proxy_destroyed: Channel proxy invalidated: tp_dbus_errors_quark 8: Channel was closed

right after what apparently was a succesful login

_mcd_dispatch_operation_check_client_locks: already finished (or finishing): Channel successfully claimed by :1.174

This is Empathy specific, because I can login with other jabber clients (pidgin, ekg2).

Please let me know if I can be of further help.

Numerico.

Sounds like a telepathy-gabble issue. Please report to bugs.freedesktop.org and attach Gabble logs.
