GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 673364
Contact tooltips are only semi-transparent
Last modified: 2012-04-03 13:59:54 UTC
Created attachment 211136 [details] an example The tooltips for contacts in the contact list are transparent around the outside (according to the theme, no?) but opaque in the middle. It looks pretty ugly. I've no idea what the problem is.
We didn't change this code since 3.2 so that's probably a Gtk+ bug not setting the theme settings correctly to the widget embeded into the tooltip. This tooltip is created using gtk_tooltip_set_custom() see http://git.gnome.org/browse/empathy/tree/libempathy-gtk/empathy-individual-view.c#n186
-> gnome-themes-standard
Thanks for the report, I now fixed this in Adwaita master and gnome-3-4.
