APN setting for Turkcell 3g (called VINN in Turkey) should not be 'internet' by default.
It should be 'mgb'.
I had to change it manually in Edit Connections->Mobile Broadband->APN

Actually, "internet" reportedly works on some plans. Maybe there should be a duplicate entry to get both APNs available.
