GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 672857
Nautilus as Desktop Manager on Gnome 3
Last modified: 2012-03-26 16:42:22 UTC
Created attachment 210636 [details] After Ctrl+T So I ran into this weird little quirk that comes from allowing Nautilus to manage the desktop on Gnome 3. I know it's not the default setup for Gnome 3 but I like icons on my desktop. Anyway, pressing Ctrl+T on the desktop with no other Nautilus windows open causes nautilus to attempt to open a new tab on the desktop that is impossible to close without killing Nautilus. Not deal breaking and I doubt people need to go about pressing Ctrl+T on their desktops much but yea. Also wish to say that there is no crash or anything like that, just minor inconvenience if it happens on accident. Running ArchLinux x64 with Nautilus 3.2.1 from Arch repos on gnome-shell 3.2.2.1
Just realized in the screenshot the little 'X' on the tabs to close them and return to the desktop.
