Description Cosimo Cecchi 2012-03-25 22:00:10 UTC
Testing Fedora 17 with 3.3.92 on a fresh install.

Activating automatic login does not work anymore; even if the switch is on in the user panel, GDM still asks me for the password/fingerprint.
Comment 1 Bastien Nocera 2012-03-26 13:21:04 UTC
What's the output of:
grep -i automatic /etc/gdm/custom.conf
after setting it on?

If it looks like:
AutomaticLoginEnable=True
AutomaticLogin=hadess

Then, it works, and you'll need to reassign to GDM.
Comment 2 Cosimo Cecchi 2012-03-26 13:39:47 UTC
Yeah, Matthias already filed this for GDM, sorry for the noise.
