GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 672521
Cannot connect to google calendar with evolution 3.3.92 / 3.4.0 and gnutls 3.0.17
Last modified: 2013-09-14 16:55:31 UTC
I cannot connect to my google calendar using Evolution 3.3.92. Got this error while trying to sync : "Impossible d'ouvrir le calendrier : Le code d'état HTTP renvoyé (6) est inattendu (Erreur lors de la lecture de données du connecteur TLS : Un paquet TLS de longueur incorrecte a été reçu.)" Rough translation : Unable to open the calendar: The HTTP status code returned (6) is unexpected (Error reading data connector TLS: A TLS packet with incorrect length was received.) Don't know if it is related, but my linux distribution (archlinux) is using gnutls 3.0.17. Also, got this error while trying to sync after starting evolution from gnome-terminal : (evolution:1774): e-data-server-ui-WARNING **: Le trousseau de clés est inutilisable : pas de nom d'hôte ou d'utilisateur Rough translation : "(evolution: 1774): e-data-server-ui-WARNING **: The keyring is unusable: no host name or user"
the bug was noticed to appear after upgrading gnutls from 3.0.15-1 to 3.0.17-1
Same behavior happened in gnome 3.2 beta2 / rc time.
Reported it as https://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=659178 which was not a gnomebug, but a gnutls one. Same story again ?
Some infos. Sync is working in a virtualized frugalware linux with gnometesting repository enabled. Gnutls in frugalware is 2.12.17.
Still seeing it with evolution 3.4.0 on gnometesting repository for archlinux :(
Issue reported to gnutls bugtracker : https://savannah.gnu.org/support/index.php?108004
For gnutls, it is fixed. The best thing is to open another bug, related to keyring bug.
