Description Xavier Guillot 2012-03-19 11:16:46 UTC
Hello,

I have problem with some documents and PDF Mod.

Some bookmarks are well listed, but all with page 0 attribute.

For example : download the pdf at :

http://www.framabook.org/docs/ubuntu/framabook2_ubuntu-10-10_v9_creative-commons-by-sa.pdf

Open it with Evince, bookmarks are well recognized and we can browse through the file.

Open with PDF Mod : all bookmarks are here, but all have p. 0 instead of right page number...

Other example : document http://www.cetiom.fr/fileadmin/cetiom/regions/Est/2010/RTR/13-_Resultats_varietes_tournesol_CETIOM_TRT_2009.pdf

All bookmarks are written p. 0

Moreover labels are also with strange characters, see screenshots in PDF Mod and Evince...

Both the encoding problem and the bookmarks shown as pointing to page zero are fixed by porting to use the beta version of pdfsharp.

pdfmod is not under active development anymore and had its last code changes
in 2011. Its codebase has been archived:
https://gitlab.gnome.org/Archive/pdfmod/commits/master

Closing this report as WONTFIX as part of Bugzilla Housekeeping to reflect
reality. Please feel free to reopen this ticket (or rather transfer the project
to GNOME Gitlab, as GNOME Bugzilla is deprecated) if anyone takes the
responsibility for active development again.
