gnome-shell-3.3.90-2.fc17.x86_64

How reproducible:
always

Hi Ray!

Do you mean the menu in the top right of the screen?
It doesn't have the "Lock screen" option anymore, just the "Log Out..." and "Suspend" options.

The output is true. So this means, locking the screen is disabled?

To add a bit more context to the bug report. I was performing Gnome Shell and Extensions Test Day: https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Test_Day:2012-03-15_Gnome_Shell_and_Extensions
and at some point I wanted to lock the live session.

So, is this intentionally disabled for live sessions? If so, why?
Comment 5 Matthias Clasen 2012-03-20 01:33:07 UTC
it is disabled because the live user has no password

Ok, then there is no bug.

Matthias and Ray, thanks for your patience and explanation!
