After the first login to the gnome desktop, notice that you cannot change the presence to available because is not active.

Once you restart the shell with alt+f2,r, the functionality is now present and i can select available/offline

It happens only if you have a GOA account added to the system.

affected: gnome-shell 3.3.90 and master.
