Description Bilal Shahid 2012-03-09 19:08:32 UTC
I was using Firefox in the same time, Empathy crashed when I got a gmail talk message and tried to bring it to the front. At first there was just an empty (grey) Empathy chat window without any text, and then it crashed, and restarted itself.

Bilal: I've asked you in several of your past bug reports that you set severity to "critical" when you forward crashers, and also that you paste the stacktrace in GNOME Bugzilla instead of just pasting a link.

What is so hard about it that you cannot follow this request?

Comment 4 André Klapper 2012-03-10 19:21:01 UTC
In comment 4 I asked to ****NOT**** attach it as an attachment. Sigh.

Also, you are using version 2.30.x which is too old and not supported anymore. GNOME developers are no longer working on that version, so unfortunately there will not be any bug fixes by GNOME developers for the version that you use.

By upgrading to a newer version of GNOME you could receive bug fixes and new functionality. You may need to upgrade your Linux distribution to obtain a newer version of GNOME.

Please feel free to reopen this bug if the problem still occurs with a newer version of GNOME, or feel free to file a bug report in the bug tracking system of your distribution if your distribution still supports this version.
