Description Allison Karlitskaya (desrt) 2012-03-09 05:36:20 UTC
Both of these modules suffer build failures on Ubuntu due to libtool
incompatibility. This is caused by autogen.sh updating some but not all
of the in-tree copy of the libtool. The solution is to rerun libtoolize
or (easier and better), not run autogen on tarballs.

core-deps-base-3.4: lcms2, ical: use ./configure
Comment 2 Allison Karlitskaya (desrt) 2012-03-09 05:37:11 UTC
We should probably reconsider the default for tarballs... autogen causes all kinds of trouble, where ./configure is the "official way" to build tarballs so it pretty much always works.
Comment 3 Javier Jardón (IRC: jjardon) 2012-03-09 16:00:43 UTC
The change to run ./configure only for tarballs make sense. Could you open another bug report to change this?
