Works fine here. But actually, cheese shows video ok, too.
Reproduced for Logitech Webcam C250 in ubuntu 12.04, cheese 3.3.90-0ubuntu2 (see https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/cheese/+bug/955934)
Jan, Vadim: If you can still reproduce this: Which exact cheese and gstreamer versions, and which distribution? What does the command "gst-launch camerabin device=/dev/video0" do? Does it open a window which shows the webcam output?
I upgraded to ubuntu 12.04 and already I can not reproduce it. Currently everything works.
