Description Vadim Rutkovsky 2012-02-24 19:49:27 UTC
Original Report: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gnome-sushi/+bug/897559

OS: Ubuntu 11.10 Oneiric stable 32-bit
gnome-sushi 0.2.0-0ubuntu2

Steps to reproduce:
1. Open a file with gnome-sushi.
2. Switch to another workspace.
3. Open another file with gnome-sushi.

Expected behaviour:
The old window is closed and the new window appears on the the new workspace.

Actual behaviour:
The old window is closed and the new window appears on the old workspace.

This makes life very hard if other windows are over the sushi window because it can only be found if those windows are individually moved out of the way, considering that the sushi window cannot be found using the Unity Launcher, Alt+Tab switcher or Scale. A user is forced to reserve a whole workspace just for Sushi, or else not move workspaces or open new windows after using Sushi. I know it's only a previewer, but this makes it very difficult to use.

Pushed a fix for this to master and gnome-3-4 now.
