GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 670334
Right-click does not give question mark (?) by default
Last modified: 2013-11-07 19:14:02 UTC
Created attachment 207914 [details] Some people use question marks (?) but do not use flags When I say I'm playing a FOSS mine game, a friend of mine ask me whether it supports question mark immediately. Fortunately, I was playing KMines on Windows, which does support question mark. So, I hope gnomine can support question mark some day :) I've tested gnomine in Ubuntu 11.10 and Fedora 16.
BTW, winemine can select whether question mark is enabled or not.
You can enable question marks in Settings>Preferences>Use "I'm not sure" flags. Are you requesting only being able to use question marks instead of both question marks and flags? Who would choose this feature and why?
I'm sorry for not doing my homework carefully. Now I wonder why don't you enable "I'm not sure" by default?
(In reply to comment #3) > Now I wonder why don't you enable "I'm not sure" by default? The other way to ask that is "why should it be enabled by default?". Can you provide a good reason to change it from how it is now? Personal preference does not make for a good reason as there are always people who prefer it to be different :)
Since it is enabled by default on Windows and KDE?
This makes sense; it's expected that question flags be provided. I'm not convinced we even need a setting to turn them off. The following fix has been pushed: 4b02d74 Enable question flags by default

The last other game of mines that I played on another platform did not support question flags and I cannot remember ever playing a game that had it by default. Therefore, I do not expect question flags to be provided, nor the default. I always have question flags off because then I don't need or want to cycle through them and can get a better time without them.
