GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 670027
Empathy status does not return to available when I return from idle
Last modified: 2012-02-14 08:05:16 UTC
Ubuntu 11.10, Gnome3. Empathy is running, status is "Available". When I go idle for a while, status gets automatically set to "Away" When I resume activity, I expect the status to automatically return to "Available", but it does not. It stays on "Away" until I manually set it back to "Available" -- but more likely I forget and people wonder where the heck I've gone all day. If it's smart enough to switch to Away when I'm idle then it should be smart enough to switch back to Available when I'm not idle.
