Bug discovered by doing the following.
Use an image from a memory card.
Finish Image Manipulation.
Save image on computer.
Close gimp.
Reopen gimp.
Hover over to File->Open Recent: ERROR!
Message says "There is no disk in the drive. Please insert a disk into drive $:. Where $ is the drive letter. Contains three options, Cancel, Try Again, Continue.
Only way to get rid of it is to hit continue three times.

This seems like a significant bug. Let me know if you need more info.

Gimp 2.6 will probably receive no further fixes. 
Does this also happen with GIMP 2.7.x?
