GIR: Write and read allow-none for property values
Last modified: 2018-05-22 14:21:50 UTC
Add annotation for allow-none of property values
Created attachment 207069 [details] [review] GIR: Write and read allow-none for property values allow-none for properties is not strictly a GIR attribute. However, in the light of writing libraries with vala and using only GIR I think it would be good to add this property attribute. Note that GIR format does allow custom attributes to be set on any element so it's not a violation.
Ping
Did you verify that the typelib compiler won't choke on this? I'd prefer the attribute to be accepted by g-i upstream before adding it to Vala.
It seems to work fine here. I can see if something like this will be accepted upstream.
Did you get around filing a bug about this with g-i upstream? If yes, please add the g-i bug as dependency of this bug.
I filed bug #672612, no replies though...
It seems there was a reply upstream
Is this bug obsolete?
No, not obsolete. G-I still doesn't support it.
