Description Jeremy Bicha 2012-02-07 23:21:06 UTC
It's not possible to use the keyboard to scroll in gnome-document 0.3.4, as tested on Ubuntu 12.04 "Alpha" on amd64. This is a regression from gnome-documents 0.2.1.

This also might explain why Ubuntu's overlay scrollbars don't work in this app any more. I have to launch with LIBOVERLAY_SCROLLBAR=0 gnome-documents as a workaround.

The issue also prevents using hardware scroll, such as two finger scroll. This is still an issue in 0.4.1.
Comment 2 Cosimo Cecchi 2012-04-23 23:21:28 UTC
Hardware scrolling is a different problem and has been fixed with the GTK patches in bug 673644
Comment 3 Matthias Clasen 2012-06-23 21:05:22 UTC
Keynav in general is severely lacking in gnome-documents
Comment 4 Cosimo Cecchi 2012-10-01 14:50:47 UTC
I now pushed a series of fixes for this to git master of libgd and gnome-documents, which greatly improve keyboard nagivation.
Closing as FIXED, please open new bug reports for further issues related to keynav.
