Description Vadim Rutkovsky 2012-02-07 06:29:21 UTC
Original report: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gnome-utils/+bug/805052

Package - gnome-system-log 2.32.0-0ubuntu5 and 3.2.1-0ubuntu1

Steps to reproduce that bug:
1. Launch gnome-system-log
2. Select any log from the list on the left (for example "auth.log")
3. Select another log (for example "dpkg.log")
4. Select log from paragraph 2 again
What is expected: the application must display in status bar information about "auth.log"
What is happened instead: the application displays info about last viewed file ("dpkg.log")

Confirming on Fedora 16 (3.2)
Comment 2 André Klapper 2020-09-26 09:41:09 UTC
gnome-system-log is not under active development anymore and had its last code changes more than four years ago. Its codebase has been archived at https://gitlab.gnome.org/Archive/gnome-system-log/

Closing this report as WONTFIX as part of Bugzilla Housekeeping to reflect
reality. Please feel free to reopen this ticket (or rather transfer the project
to GNOME Gitlab, as GNOME Bugzilla is being shut down) if anyone takes the
responsibility for active development again.
