Description drx 2012-01-31 08:17:49 UTC
The gnome-help browser used to be able to find man pages by just searching from them. It could display perldoc and pydoc documentation. Yelp does not or does not make it obvious how to get there.

While for example running "yelp man:rsync" from the command line works, typing "man:rsync" in yelp's URL bar does not. Nor does running "yelp perldoc:Apache" or "yelp pydoc:os" from the command line.

Yelp should search and display man pages, perldoc, pydoc and any other console based help system, not only by command line arguments or special URLs. I believe there are enough converters available to do it.
