GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 668892
TypeLoadException when starting Banshee
Last modified: 2020-03-17 09:22:55 UTC
Created attachment 206315 [details] Output from banshee --debug When I try to run Banshee, the window appears, but then disappears. Running Banshee from the command line gives the attached output. Banshee has worked for me in the past, but I don't know what change has caused this error. I have tried deleting the ~/.config/banshee-1 directory and reinstalling Banshee, but neither made any difference. Thanks, Richard
debug log indicates that this is the Ubuntu One Music Store, raising to Critical as this crashes Banshee on startup.
Banshee is not under active development anymore and had its last code changes more than three years ago. Its codebase has been archived. Closing this report as WONTFIX as part of Bugzilla Housekeeping to reflect reality. Please feel free to reopen this ticket (or rather transfer the project to GNOME Gitlab, as GNOME Bugzilla is being shut down) if anyone takes the responsibility for active development again. See https://gitlab.gnome.org/Infrastructure/Infrastructure/issues/264 for more info.
