On two tries with Red Hat 7.2 when I install full   version of redhat with all applications and coose to use Gnome I get the following:
Applicaiton "panel" (process 1551) has crashed due to a fatal error. (Segmentaton Fault)

>How-To-Repeat:
Reinstall Linux from the CD set (Red Hat) usning Gnome as the default GUI

Please try the latest (1.4.x) version of gnome-core and gnome-libs
from http://download.gnome.org/ Contact me if you need RPMS.
