GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 668241
Dragging a window to another workspace causes its title to be wrongly sized
Last modified: 2015-06-17 00:01:16 UTC
1. Enter overview 2. Drag any window to another workspace 3. Switch to that workspace Don't know if this is true for git version.
Please attach a screenshot and mention your distribution. No idea what the bug is that you see, as I either fail to reproduce or don't understand.
Created attachment 205617 [details] title is too wide
Fedora 16
This is true for git also. Not that serious bug but hey..
Still present in Fedora 18 (GNOME 3.6.1). 1. Have an empty desktop. 2. Hit super key 3. Type gedit 4. Hit enter 5. Wait for it to load 6. Enter overview 7. Drag the gedit window to workspace 2 8. Now gedit is in the topmost workspace and you are in the bottom most workspace 9. Click the topmost workspace, where gedit has gone 10. Now the gedit title is wider than it should be. Right padding is too wide. Padding gets wider the longer the title is.
Still a bug in Fedora 19, GNOME 3.8. Have a window, enter overview (and keep it open for the entire time), drag the window to another workspace, go there. Now its caption is larger than it should be. It depends on the size of the original title, so do this with a window that has long title text.
Fixed in Fedora 22
