Description Leandro Resende Mattioli 2012-01-17 02:55:26 UTC
Creation of a git repository for the project libgtkmusic.

Repository name: libgtkmusic

Description:
libgtkmusic is a GTK+ library that provides widgets for displaying and interacting with musical instruments views, as well as some utility functions. It can be used for any kind of application that needs a musical instrument view, such as virtual guitars, note detector, guitar training and games). Currently it supports a highly customizable guitar and a piano.

Current website:
http://sourceforge.net/p/libgtkmusic/

The project has a public release (http://sourceforge.net/projects/libgtkmusic/files/). It is written in Vala and it uses autotools.

Since it's a GTK+ library, I think hosting in gnome.org would be a better option than in sourceforge.net .

Thanks in advance.

Seems like a nice addition.

Do you know any existing maintainer within GNOME?
Comment 2 Leandro Resende Mattioli 2012-01-22 16:10:54 UTC
No, I don't know any maintainer in Gnome.
Can I be the project maintainer and developer at the same time?

Thanks in advance.(In reply to comment #1)

Yes, you can be both.

Please follow https://live.gnome.org/NewAccounts and as voucher module select 'bugzilla.gnome.org'. For permissions, select both git as well as 'install modules'.

Once approved, you can create+import the git module yourself. See https://live.gnome.org/Git/NewRepository.
